Company Bio

At Nelson Mandela High School they introduce students to the commercial food industry. Students spend most of the class time working in a large commercial kitchen under the instruction of culinary professionals. Students work in an authentic setting as the product they make are sold in the full service cafeteria or for caterings. This gives the students a realistic “feel” of the food service industry and helps the students make decisions about their career goals.

Meeting Outcomes

We are honoured to celebrate with our Young Chefs, their Chef Instructors and their Families. Award Recipients have participated in a number of different Culinary Initiatives over the scholastic year; High School Skills Competitions and an overall demonstration of passion and dedication to the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Industry.

We will be holding our Annual Board of Director’s Elections as well as a general information meeting. We will be going over some association business and discussing plans for future growth.
